Dear friends of the Barcelona Festival of Song,

I´m writing to share with you the news of our Summer Program. 2008 was a big success! we had students and faculty coming from 14 countries and we enjoyed being together and performing in concerts, master classes and lectures. In 2009 we will be reaching our Fifth year, which is a big achievement!

Registration is open for the 2009 festival and early birds will enjoy a better tuition price. There are also partial scholarships for duets. So hurry up and register and enjoy a better price! Bear in mind that a limited number of participants are accepted each year.

Our program is unique in many respects:

a.. We are the only program focused on Latin-American & Spanish Vocal music.

b.. Participants have the opportunity to perform at the two final concerts.

c.. Each of the participants at the Festival has his/her own development program, designed around his/her unique abilities, level of development and goals. The goal is to reinforce their strengths and to identify and overcome their weaknesses.

d.. No age limit. Open to students & teachers

e.. Festival participants are exposed to important aspects of Ibero-American culture; learn Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Catalan diction; receive live coaching at master classes and private lessons; they also have the opportunity to explore the tourist-friendly city of Barcelona, learn about its history, and enjoy its beaches.

Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study and perform in beautiful Barcelona.
